I could be wrong, but I am taking the store clerk's voice as the artist/voice actor of foamy. I've always wondered what he really sounded like.

It's not bad, sort of reminds me of another game I can't really name. Which I know isn't helpful, but if you could add a signifiying noise (anything really) that lets people know that someone is talking, that would be a big help. I found out that running into people makes them talk, but I didn't know because of the very subtle font at the bottom

Yeah, anything to let the player know that a discussion is going on.
